Also Glenn Robinson had a family emergency and did not make the trip.
On the local news they said that Pop said Tim is "probable, but likely will play".
I'm not sure if that means anything.
I'm just passing on information.
Also Glenn Robinson had a family emergency and did not make the trip.
fan ing tastic.
Probable???
I didnt even know his status was in DOUBT!!!
Glenn Robinson did not make the trip, so does that mean hes not playing tommarow??
If so, dang.
R.I.P.

that sucks
pop and him must have went at it after the tech
but geez everyone gets a tech
Don't jump to conclusions. He may have just actually had a family emergency. He might even make it to Phoenix, but just have not been able to be on time to be on the team jet.
i hope for Glenn's sake its the latter.
This team doesnt need a distraction Rodman style right now.
Tpark why would you assume that this is anything but a family emergency. I don't see pop leaving anyone behind on this trip.
With his past??? You cant rule anythign out.why would you assume that this is anything but a family emergency
But I dont see it either, I hope, well, to a point that it IS a family emergency, and that its NOT serious, so he can join the team for tommarow's game.
The Spurs also were hoping Duncan would have more rest for his ailing ankles. He didn't practice yesterday and coach Gregg Popovich listed him as probable for the opener.
"We're not going to do something to jeopardize Tim's health or our team's chances for success," Popovich said. "If he can't play, he's not going to play. If he can play at all, there's going to be no way to keep him off the court."
With the Barry-Devin situation, I doubt the Spurs would cast off Glenn Robinson, especially just for that techinical.
Probable, in the NFL, means they will play.
Actually I hope Glenn's sake it isn't, who wants a family emergency.
The news guy said he will play, just a little painful.
Wow. Not the ideal way to open a new round on the road.
But this team has overcome adversity before. At least Manu and Tony are healthy.
To put an end to speculation on Glenn .. his mom died.
That is an extremely sad thing.
And a more than serious enough reason for not to play this game.
My heart goes out to Glenn. He's been truly amazing as a Spur, considering he hadn't played at all this year.
would spurs not just cut him if he is a distraction?
When will Tim adopt using ankle braces.. I know he got frustrated with those he tried earlier this season and took them off and didnt wear one after one or two games with one on. Dude dont put the ring in jeopardy with another tweak. Once you roll your ankle the tendons are weak and susceptible to reinjury. I know he injured his left ankle this time vs his problematic right ankle, but that puts him on two damaged wheels right now.TIM, WEAR A DAMN BRACE MY MAN.!
They don't allow the use of ankle braces in the NBA, all they can do is tape their ankles
would the spurs not just cut him if he was a distraction?
TD looked very probable on the floor today.
We can only hope that he's probable again on Tuesday. Maybe Pop should try that for Devin Brown too.
