this happened just last week and me and my friends were at the game
why did they start fighting?
they were heckling because they lost and i'm pretty sure some of them knew each other
some of the players from the team claim that the fans threw beer bottles at them but i didn't see anything besides some talking from the fans

^^ nah i was there, they were chirping them and spitting but there was nothing thrown besides a few water bottles from the team in orange
The guy that got knocked out went after another player after the fighting had mostly stopped.
I don't get why everyone wants to hold the players solely responsible for this. Yes, they're in the wrong, but fans should be held to a higher standard as well.
16 players in padding, using helmets for weapons and stomping people with cleats on, some of these people got stomped for trying to break it up, these guys are pussies
but your right the fans were asked to move and the coaches asked for the cops to be called before the game was over and still nothing happened

most of these clowns act all tough and in their sport but in public they usually get beat up by the typical drunks...
went to a rangers game last year and i sat in left field stands and the fans were brutal to the angels left fielder. I wouldnt have blamed that guy for jumping into the stands.
