So happy to have him in my fantasy team
Wow. Impressive. I got curious, so I looked up the franchise record. It's 28 by Cousy in 1959.
Rondo is a great warrior but like Achilles he has a horribly fatal flaw in his game. Cant be a top PG with a huge weakness like that.
rondo just needs consistency on his J and he will be unguardable
imo rondo is not yet THE top PG, but soon he will be. again given that he covers the only weakness in his game
I love his all around game but the Lakers and heat do not guard him. he HAS to change that to get top PG status IMHO ... but it was a great game no doubt.
damn dude you're on a roll![]()
It's late and I'm tired.
It's a damn impressive feat, no matter what D you are facing.
his been doing this since the celts last championship
he's one of the few, if not the only player that can dominate the game without needing to score.
What's his APG average through 3 games?
I wonder if he can have a season with those gaudy totals we used to see out of Stockton/Magic.
Wow, that is amazing. He doesn't need to score, he has enough scorers around him.
He's the MVP (not that goofy award thingy), but, the dyed in the wool most valuable player in the Eastern Conference. He just is.
great line ..... Knix held their own and just ran outta gas. Gotta love that League Pass
Rondo is a bit underrated. Everyone talks about Derrick Rose, Deron Williams and Chris Paul. I'd take him over those three any day of the week if you want to win a championship.
but instead you'll settle for Carlos Arroyo...and you'll like it..
How does he do it without a consistent jumper?
What a great player but why can't he ing shoot the ball??
I don't always pay close attention to assist stats and I didn't see the game, but consider thiis:
Celtics made 44 field goals, of which Rondo made 4. This means Rondo assisted on 24 of 40 field goals. the other Celtics assisted on 9 of the remaining 20. That's 75% overall.
Knicks got assists for 24 of 37 field goals, just under 66.66%.
I've seen stories before of how some home score keepers inflate the assist numbers. (Chris Paul). This game is no proof of a "fix" but it does cause me to question the standards of what is an assist. Most games have a much lower assist to field goals made ratio I believe.
