They just did 60 mil in renovations to the Pit. Its pretty damn amazing now.
ENM went down like the punks they are. UNM looked solid against really bad compe ion.
I went to the Tech vs UNM basketball game last year during winter break since I have a few friends that live in Albuquerqe. Needless to say we got destroyed. Don't really know much about college bball but "The Pit" was pretty cool, very old school. I remember they had some Michael Beasley looking mother er who almost had a triple double. Can't remember his name tho, I'm sure Manny knows who it is.

Lobos opened up their season kicking Detroits sorry ass now they're going to do the say to ASU.
6-1 so far. Laid an egg against Cal but otherwise good against not so good compe ion. Can't wait for conference play to start to kick some SDST, BYU, and UNLV ass.
Lobos have lost some close close games this year in heartbreak (and bull - SUP UNLV) fashion but they smashed BYU today. This is just what a young team needed to get some confidence and play some more good ball down the stretch.

MWC conference champs for the 3rd time in 4 years! The MWC is a damn good conference this year, too.
Season starts on Monday at midnight local time as we play Davidson to open up on ESPN.
This year will be interesting - lost Drew Gordon but our guards are ing great. Our 7 foot center that missed last year is back after sitting out hurt and he's looked good.
