With Berts recent admission that he phoned her, sure seems possible that he also sent her a picture of lil Brett. Sterger, while at 1st seeming to be the "cool chick" who while having no interest in his advances nonetheless refused to rat out Favre, now has her legal team saying they may talk to the NFL. They may. Now is that a veiled threat or what? Certainly is how i take it.

Here's what i think came down. Favre indeed sent her texts and a lewd pic. She offered to keep silent -for a price. Egotistical Favre at 1st offered nothing, then gave some lowball offer. Sterger being well aware (or informed) of Favres 17 mill a year salary and lifetime salary of what 100+ million not counting goofy endorsement money, resulted in Stergers team say "Screw that, ask him for 5-10 million and not a penny less."

I personally don't think there's much leverage for Brett to pay her a dime. If he did send her lewd picks, it's not a crime. And even if he faces discipline or suspension by the league, the way the season has gone for the Vikings, I doubt he cares all that much. So there's no legal ramifications and if the league suspends him, I don't think it would be the worst thing for him. Why would he pay millions of dollars to that ? The only one he really has to answer to is his wife, and I'm sure she already knew what kind of pervert he was. Sterger is just debating whether she wants to be a rat and face the a life of torment by people knowing how much of a hoe she is, which she'll probably face regardless if she rats or not.

Good points all. However there is that thread that showed how much Favre can make endorsementwise after he retires. All indication are the same as Marino, Montana, etc but that a cawk pic could and most likely would derail a lot of that.

Zero leverage. America loves to forgive their heroes. If Favre worries about his future endorsements, all he has to do is get a reality show or have a stint on Dancnig with the Stars, and America falls in love with him all over again. Sending a hot young woman a pic is way down on the scandalous meter. Depending on the product, this might not hurt Brett's endorsement viability at all. The type of products he would endorse would be mostly for a male demographic anyway. How many men don't understand why Brett tried to a young hot woman?

And even if it could hurt Brett's endorsement potential, paying her doesn't change that. He already admitted to calling her. Everyone thinks he sent her pics, whether he denies it or not and whether she says he did or doesn't. Paying her to be quiet doesn't change that perception much at all. If he can't get endorsement deals because of this, he still won't be able to even if he pays her off. She has no leverage.
