So he must not listen to KOL. Sad really.
America, eatin' my lunch from a single bowl in my parents basement, where I'm livin'. Happy Birthday, I'm forty-three.
Don't want to waste those precious calories...chewin'. Jesus come move my jaw for me, help me get my sloppy food down my throat.
So he must not listen to KOL. Sad really.
Jesus Christ, that new KOL record sucks nuts.
Please. Don't start with this....
I would love to listen to you and IM tell us all about the trendy bands that no one has heard of that are just so awesome, but I have to rock out to a real American Rock band.
"Lay where you're laying..........don't make a sound"
Just been listening to AnCo and Bjork lately, brah. And some Sufjan.
dirk4mvp likes to use somebody
for their balls
Please. Don't start with me . . .
I was a huge KOL fan. Those first two records are great, the third one is mostly good, but the last two are just awful. They sound like U2 now.
The new Sufjan is much different than Illinois and Michigan...that's for sure.
New Sufjan is good.
That or This is Happening is my AOTY.
I agree with the bolded especially. OBTN is an amazing album though, IMO it's probably their most complete.. the lead single for their newest is very, very U2-ey, way too much for KOL, just not that good.
I said yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhh, DPG's posting's on fiyahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I said wahhhh wah wahhhhhhhhhh
"I'll be the one who shows you the way"
DPG, KOL
+1 imho
I usually defend a band when they "evolve" and change their sound, but usually they get better . . . I miss those hooks and melodies, man.
Sufjan or LCD...can't go wrong with either/or...
It's not my favorite album of theirs but it is good. Thing is, it is hard to stay really great and evolve. Especially when your first few albums are boss.
KOL = You love women and America.
There are certainly worse bands . . . I'm just a little disappointed. I'm taking it kind of hard because they used to be one of my favorite bands.
This just makes my Starbucks taste better.
Yeah, that's pretty annoying. Sufjan is brilliant sometimes, but mostly he just makes me want to listen to something better.
Bjork...really, dude? Maybe if I still shroomed I would like that , but listening to some whiny icelandic chick ramble on to an acid trance beat just doesn't do it for me. I'm guessing you would like that Dancer in the Dark movie.
When I think about dirk4mvp I touch my rooster.
