i hurd its a gateway drug to pros ution.
The state of California will officially legalize (and tax) a previously controlled substance. Crazy.
i hurd its a gateway drug to pros ution.
It's not a sure thing yet. I will actually be surprised if it passes.
19 will fail. Which is disgusting.
its one of the lords evil apples.
The law isn't all that great and has some really stupid provisions in it.
yeah, a bad law in parts, but like health care reform, ya gotta start somewhere.
I read an article that the real industrial explosion and game changer would be legalization of hemp with marijuana, hemp being THE cash crop in the colonial time. America is the only country in world to criminalize hemp. Hemp be right up there with King Cotton, and maybe more important.
Frickin America is sometime so frickin perverse and stupid.
And the Federal government will file a lawsuit against the state right?
I did not know wtf hemp even was until I was in my early 20's. Cotton lobbyists pwned the top dog a hundred years ago. No one knows.
No has the mo'. Weed might not be legalized in CA.
Tomorrow night the Repubs will order the Dems to...
- "Put your fkin' mouth on that curb!!!!...........Now, say good night."
tee, hee.
Wrong thread, Joe.
This is the weed thread. Drugs are bad, m'kay?
Check.
horribly written law, i dont see it happening
I always thought it was a gateway drug to alcohol.
My bad.
Cigarettes are a gate way drug...
What don't you like about it?
Off the top of my head the amount of space allowable for growing turns out to be a 5x5 plot. I mean come the on. When Jess was telling me about it I remember there being a bunch of other stupid but I can't recall off the top of my head.
won't happen.
Actually Manny, not that the law makes any sense as written but you can grow a load of good dope in a 5X5 plot. Growing good pot is a lot more complicated than the average stoner realizes, though. Been there done that.
I'd love for them to legalize and tax it in Texas. I would SO be a commercial grower.
Why? Are you stoned?![]()
Hey, years ago, I grew some fine stuff in a 2x2 box.
Doesn't make sense to limit commercial growers to that.
I agree it's stupid the way they do it in California...as I understand it, each "member" that a medicinal MJ club signs up the law allows the club to plant more area...but even 5X5 can still yield a lot especially on an indoor grow facility. With intensive grow procedures they could probably get 10# plus of bud a year from that 5X5 space.
The smart way to do it would be to have "certified" growers/curers/ packagers that could "brand" their product and pay a big tax to the state before retail distribution...just like liquor distilleries...
