I'll be back in town for the hoildays and got tickets to see the Spurs beat John Wall and the wizards. I have a digital SLR camera and was wondering if I should bring it? Will they let me in with it?

I'm pretty sure I got into the Toyota Center with my S5IS. I don't think I'd go any more than that.

    Official AT&T Center Policy
    http://www.attcenter.com/default.asp?att_center=63

    Cameras

All camera policies are event specific, so please call 210-444-5000 to verify prior to coming to the event. No professional camera/video equipment may be brought in for any AT&T Center event including “detachable” lenses, lenses that are longer than 3 inches or flashes. Patrons have the option to take any cameras that are not allowed in back to their car or they can check it in at Guest Services and pick it back up at the end of the event. Please note for "most" events the regular 35mm or digital/disposable cameras are allowed in as long as the lens is not detachable. This is not the case for "all" events. Concerts may have their own policy based on the promoter's requests.

Okay thanks for the feedback guys. Seems like it is officially not allowed. I could take my chances but I wont be able to shoot without having to look over my shoulder. I'll just have to find a family member to let me borrow a very powerful point and shoot.

As obstructed_view stated, it's all about the detachable. We have a 20x point-and-shoot that is right past the 3" lens limit but it's retracted inside the camera when we walk in... they've never questioned it, nothing. I've seen some DSLR's get in, I've seen some not.

I don't know. They let me park my Benz so you should be OK. But I'm worried I won't be able to get in with my Breitling watch. Any ideas?

Will they let me in with my vietnam jungle boots? They're great for stomping s. Of course, when you're done you gotta clean out the waffle with a stick, but what the you can't have everything, right?

You're right, you can't have everything. But you should use a three prong grill fork and save time.
