I'm definitely gonna see it, unless they ruin it for me using horrible cheesy commercials like Skyline did. The song made me wanna punch through my screen. And I'm getting SO ing sick of Mic e Rodriguez in these woman soldier bull dike roles. She's not that hot and she's annoying at trying to sound tough

Wow, that looks pretty flippin' sweet...
actually Battle: LA was started before Skyline; and some of the people that worked on the FX also worked on Skyline. There is an article, stating that the people from Battle: LA are suing Skyline for copying some of their story and designs.
Oh and on one of the movie forums I belong to, someone got to see a early screening of this movie a few months back and said it was really good and the acting was good as well. The person said it is basically: Black Hawk Down meets District 9 and that is good enough for me.
Trust me this will be nothing like Skyline

Also, Skyline's cast was such an obvious "let's get as many young good looking people as possible". I mean seriously, Turk from Scrubs? And besides the UBER typecast Mic e Rodriguez, this cast looks pretty legit
Wow, has anyone else taken the time to see this movie's credits? This is only the writers third film (1 was a tv movie) and the director also has 3 films all of them ty horror movies
Every good director needs a start. Spielberg started off with a TV movie and a comedy. James Cameron did Piranha 2 before hitting it big.
I got some goosebumps at the beginning but by the end I couldn't help but wonder why I'd go see this. The re ed song that starts halfway through doesn't really help either
The little robot song? Yeah.......not a good choice of music as it really killed the mood. Hard.
I don't know why you guys are whining about the "robotic" song.. I think it's pretty kick ass and adds an eerie effect to it.
I definitely want to watch it..
