Microsoft piece of ....

Oh well... it lasted long enough. Was working fine since '06, so I guess I really can't complain, can I?

A slim is $300 and no ix touch for it yet...

Is there a permanent fix for this? I looked up and down, and I've seen the clamp fix, the heat gun reflow fix, the pennies fix, but they all seem to be temporary.

I'll probably borrow one from a friend for now, but if anybody has any insight, I wouldn't mind to get this fixed if there's something permanent and cheap.
