WTFover???
Where did you hear this one?
If he thinks he can beat Henry Bonilla running for Kay Bailey Hutchison's Senate seat he has completely lost his mind...no way he even has a chance on that one....
WTFover???
Where did you hear this one?
Good lord help us... thank goodness this would be decided statewide.
I think he got kicked in the nuts.....oops!...Brain playing soccer!![]()
Henry Bonilla is a of a guy.
He'd win in a landslide.
ha. Bonilla is nothing more than a coconut, just like his buddy Ernesto "Call me Ernest" Ancira
It was on the radio yesterday...Garza says he is "interested" in running for Hutchisons seat if she runs for Governor...the guy is totally clueless...I have known for months that if Hutchinson moves it will be a three way move...Hutchinson to Governor, Bonilla to Senator, and Lyle Larson to Bonilla's house seat...with mutual endorsements... ...they have already raised their war chests...this is hardly a secret around town...
Why is Ancira a coconut?
Do coconuts talk out of the side of their mouth? Hey, he'd make a GREAT politician.
Didn't he lose a state senate seat a few years back?
Bonilla is no different than any other politician.....I wouldn't vote for him nor Garza.
We need a "none of the above" slot - I'd vote for that.
No, but the idea of him running for higher office makes me want to consider doing drugs. Is Ed Garza on drugs?

Garza isn't on drugs just ego.

Typical racist bull from the left...
Henry Bonilla? No thanks.
Ed Garza? No thanks.
Ed Garza should be on drugs- Prozec
Nope that takes about 6 weeks to kick in
he needs something NOW
He turned Brooks into a Soccer Field... THE world top class bio medical research facility... into soccer ....
THE GUY is a genius...
P.S. does he even know what a computer and biology / chemistry is?
Uh, please don't lead me to compare records of racism.
So you condone it, then?
And I guess I can add you to the list of people who see nothing wrong with terms like "coconut", "oreo", "n****" (I'm not going to say it!), "cracker", etc...
I didn't say I condoned anything. I was laughing at your labeling of racism from the left. And don't get me wrong, the left has done plenty of racist and continues to do racist things. And they love to act like they're the party of the colored people, but that's bull .
However, to insinuate that the left has some kind of monopoloy, or even lead on the racism in this country is laughable.
As for the terms themselves. I use hispanic "deragatory" terms all the time. I use cracker all the time. Just to save myself hassle, I don't use any other terms. I use them in humor, and I could care less if anyone else did. I'd be leary of a politician using one in a public manner, but I wouldn't care if they used it in a private matter depending on the context.
The bottom line is that words are words and racism is contained within actions.
So again, why is Ancira a coconut?
Ask Bandit, I have no interest in the dude with the horrible commercials with Gervin.
Uh, isn't that the Jordan Ford guy not Ancira?
Oh yeah, you're right. They look pretty alike, though.
I implied neither a monopoly nor a lead. I actually was more in line with the last sentence of your first paragraph.
However, if you are insinuating a lead from the right, I would have to disagree. Personally, I think there is plenty to go around.
To quote someone you don't like very much, "words mean things". There is a reason the terms are considered derogatory. I don't like them, and I personally think anyone who uses them has (at the very least) a serious flaw in their outlook that needs to be looked at. If that insults you, I'm sorry, but that's how I see it.
I hear the call of "racism" way too often by people who think nothing of using terms like "coconut", "oreo", "cracker", and similar terms. Terms that do nothing but group people negatively based on one thing...skin color. I don't condone it, I never will, and I will speak up against it regardless of who says things like that. I am Anglo, my wife is Hispanic. If I ever heard anyone call her (or my kids) a term like that, that person would be in danger of injury. That's not a specific threat against you or anyone else, but it is what would happen.
Do you understand where I am coming from?
