    Yall still in da house?

This is sickening, it REALLY is. This is on Morey and Adelman, We all knew Yao was done before the season, so why not play the young guys? Patterson deserves playing time over any of these scrubs, Kevin Martin has less heart than McGrady, and for some reason that is shocking. So congrats Kevin, you did the unthinkable. Hill deserves playing time. I would have rather known that THIS was coming instead of Morey hyping us up. Lowry is trying to prove a point, and he is failing so far. He wants to be a starter, got starter money, and is blowing fierce Gorilla balls. I think someone has to go, I don't necessarily blame Adelman, but this team plays zero defense.

I think this has alot to do with the players not trusting Morey as far as they can throw him, because he just simply cannot be trusted. After Landry was traded, it has gone downhill. But to give this type of effort is unacceptable, and everyone on the roster should be traded. Yes, even Scola. He deserves to go to a wiinner. We are destined for the lotto, I could have guessed that, but not going for one of the top 3 picks. I will stick by my team though, thick and thin.

    To fix this mess:

    1) Morey MUST go - His ego has led to this, acquiring assets so he can trade for a superstar Too bad our assets suck, and were BADLY overrated by Rocket fans

    2) Kevin Martin must go - No guts No glory. Let JT get some playing time.

    3) Yao must retire - I mean "officially" retire, since we all know he has been retired for some years now

    4) Just bring up the ing D-league players, cuz this is depressing

    5) LOL at the Franchise, DaDakota saying #2 spot in the west...i'll take that draft pick though

You need a good PG to eventually be elite, except the Lakers

    NBA Comparison: Chris Paul

Strengths: An excellent athlete in a solid 6'2 point guard body, Irving has complete command and control of the basketball in terms of handle and running a team ... He's super quick, and makes it almost impossible for his defender to stay in front of him on a one on one basis ... Will cause havoc with his ability to get into the lane and open things up ... He has a remarkable ability to change direction on the dime, making him virtually unguardable and deadly in the open court ... Has shown the ability to finish with both hands around the basket ... His outside game is above average for a guard entering his freshman year - since he has the ball in his hands most of the time, most of his shots are pull ups off the dribble, which he has shown to be an effective weapon for him, displaying sound fundamentals with his feet setup and a smooth release ... has 3 point range ... He has solid point guard vision, and excels in the fast break whether it's finishing himself or throwing a timely setup pass to a teammate ... His pick and roll potential could be a big weapon moving forward, as he can make the initial pass or use his impressive change of speed ability coming off a screen to get to the rim ... Shows body control when going up in traffic with an ability to elude taller defenders in the air ... Defensively he plays aggressive on ball defense, showing quick footwork and the ability to stay in front of his man with a high motor and high intensity ... Very composed, mature young man both on and off the floor ...

Weaknesses: Irving tends to get too caught up with his ability to handle the ball, at times causing over dribbling and poor offensive team possessions ... Since he's so quick and elusive off the dribble, he finds himself getting an open look on almost every possession, not necessarily a good thing from your point guard ... At 6'2 his size works at the college level, but won't give him much of an edge seeing over the defense at the professional level ... His shot release point is also somewhat low... Shot selection and overall poise and control need improvement, however under Coach K that is unlikely to be an issue ...

Overall: He will come in with established scorers around him, which will really help him in terms of growing as a playmaker and quarterback ... His quickness and talent combine to make him a pleasure to watch, as he should blossom into a premier guard in the country within his first year ... He's almost a guaranteed one and done candidate, and I don't see him slipping out of the top 5 ...

morey never made any "terrible" signing or deal during his tenure tbf. the biggest mistake ever of Rockets history was drafting a crap with the #1 pick, which happened in 2002, and Morey has been in charge since as late as 2006 or around.

morey is only the Rockets RM since as recent as 2006, so it's fair to say he has nothing at all to do with the draft of yao- the biggest blunder of team's history.

Not as big a blunder it seems as the Blazers drafting of Greg Oden

Is the Knicks' pick to y'all protected at all (for that matter, did you get their 2011 and 2013 picks, or just the 2011)? If not, you could get two lottery picks in this next draft, to go along with some promising young players (and Yao comes off the books this year).

This season may suck, but the future isn't that dark; in a few years, people may be talking about the Rockets as the up-and-coming contender like they're talking about the Thunder now.

This year's pick is top 1 protected, we don't have their actual pick, just the right to swap picks should they finish with a worse record. Next year's is top 5 protected.

I've spoken to multiple sources and they told me that Kyrie Irving has every intention of staying at least two years at Duke. He is said to be in no rush to jump into the NBA draft.

I see. Yeah, that's not near as good. At the time of the trade, I remember thinking it was a ridiculous steal for the Rockets. That was assuming the Rockets would have a better record than the Knicks. Oh well, at least Yao's still coming off the books and you'll get 1 good pick.
