This game is going to be interesting. We have 2 big challenges in front of us contain DH inside, I hope we will see some splitter working him and defend the 3 points, they are shooting like crazy.

I don't know why but I feel that Rashard Lewis will kill us tonight.
yeah this is going to be as easy as the others i see it being very physical hahah
well spurs are the worst this year at defending the three. Orlando has anynumber of shooters who can get hot from three. Not a good combo imo. Lets see.
One of our first REAL tests this season. Hopefully the Spurs can pull through!! Manu should have a good game, as well as Tony. GO SPURS GO!

I think that a game in Salt Lake City is always a tough test. . .
Will be easily the toughest game we've played thus far. Magic's size and ability to spread the floor will test our defense mightily. This is one of those games where Pop plays a lot of bull lineups to see what might work against this team later on.
Spurs need to not deviate from what they do best.

If the Spurs out rebound Orlando then the spurs have a great chance at a W.
He will. All these players that are struggling always show up against the Spurs.
The Magic are the ones pressing to prove something tonight.
8 of their 9 wins are against teams below .500, they are 1-2 against teams with winning records, and are having trouble closing out bad teams on the road.
They will need to play well above their current level of play if they want to get a quality win on the road. But if they can only win on the road by 8 total points against bad teams in their last three games, what makes anyone think that they will magically show up for this game with all their problems worked out?
Teams that aren't playing that well tend to show up against us for some reason.
i'm wondering how popovich is going to start blair this game. against lewis, he will be outmatched in terms of speed and height. lewis will force blair to venture out to the perimeter, leaving him extremely vulnerable. against howard, blair will be outmatched in every way possible.
Spurs better avoid the slow start. Orlando is a tough team to come back against because Dwight is such a great defensive anchor and they have the weapons to outscore you. Spurs have to be ultra cognizant of the three point line. Make guys like Vince/Shard/Jameer put the ball on the floor and drive.
I'm bummed because the game is on NBA tv - that means I can only listen to it, not watch it.

I'm betting Blair will start on Howard, with Duncan on Lewis to avoid foul trouble. Tim can follow Lewis better on the perimeter, and Pop will probably try to see if Blair can body up Dwight. I also foresee a quick subs ution to a taller defender once Howard hits a few shots or Blair picks up a couple fouls, whichever comes first.
