It was a 3 point game, but this man made the difference in the 4th quarter. He always comes through when it counts. he's the x factor in this series. And the best thing is SUns cannot strategize to stop what he does, 'cause its the little things/tricks a veteran knows.

That offensive rebound and the assist to Barry for the three was huge. But that late 3 pointer was huge!!!!!

I disagree. Most have come to count on Horry for stuff like that.

If you've got to pick an x-factor tonight, it's gotta be either Barry for his plays in the fourth or Nazr for his work at both ends.

stubbornly I will begin to call him Rob instead of Bob. As a matter or fact, I'll call him Mister Big Shot Rob.

Why Bob? Even the playoff wallpaper on WOAI is captioned "big shot Bob" I thought Robert himself set the record straight in an interview: It's Big shot Rob!

I think we established previously that the original (and preferred by the man himself) nickname is Big Shot Rob.

Exactly. It's Big Shot Rob. He even said so himself.

Regardless. This guy is definitely our assassin in the postseason like that thread I think timvp started mentioned.

Lets face it. The guy can smell another ring.

PS. Remember all the Laker fan losers that declared that this guy was washed up when they dumped him? What morons.

If Phoenix was smart, they'd switch to purple-and-gold uniforms to throw him off.

I wish Kori could send a memo to the San Antonio media and let the know that his nickname is BIG SHOT ROB.

Robert totally set the record str8, but I still wanted to call him Bob because I thought it was more descriptive of his playoff transformation. Now I'll just call him Sir, but if he prefers big shot rob, and then that's what it will be.

    Game 2 analysis

    San Antonio Express-News

    NOT IN THE BOX

When Robert Horry took a forearm from Amare Stoudemire and fell back onto the court — maybe harder than he needed to — with 4:22 remaining in Game 2, it wasn't your typical flop. Horry's fall got Stoudemire whistled for a technical foul. More often than not, that can motivate the team that gets whistled for the violation.

Only this time, it only seemed to fire up the Spurs. After the technical, the Spurs drew a charging foul on Stoudemire. They scored on seven of their next eight possessions to end the game, making four consecutive baskets at one point.

...thank you for that, Big Shot Bob.

The Spurs still had to make their shots, congrats, but the defense-less Suns can't get any stops.
