Start dates for NBA Finals

I'm putting this in this forum so I can't be accused of screwing with Karma.

Does anyone know when are the earliest and latest possible start dates for the Finals?

nba.com lists the dates for potential games 5-7 of the conference finals but not the Finals.

I think the finals are tentatively scheduled to begin June 9, but they don't finalize the schedule until the conference finals are done. That's what I understand anyway.

That's correct. I understand they can start as early as the 5th or as late as the 9th. But I'm not positive.

Best I've found is several sites that put the start date at June 9, with a possible move up to June 7. The latest end date for the Finals is June 23.
