And btw I noticed Bonner in the background shooting 3's. During the whole interview, he just mechanically (and lackadaisically I might add) sat and hoisted 3's like he was thinking more about his next sandwich stop.
If I was Bonner, I would be practicing taking those shots with a guy running at me challenging my shot, because pretty much he's going to be a marked man from here on out the rest of the season and isn't going to see many more wide open 3's.
Really, after watching this, it's no small wonder the guy can't ever hit a 3pt shot when it matters or there is any defender near him challenging the shot. And after watching his practice habits that probably isn't going to change anytime soon.

Your absolutely right. Anyone that actualy plays ball knows that u can sit out there all alone swishing shots but it's a whole different story with somebody challenging your shots. I'll keep an eye on that and see how many contested threes bonner hits this year and how many he hits in the playoffs lol
You might have been right, but you also took all of that speculation from a couple of minutes of watching what Bonner was doing after a practice. Pretty big conclusion to jump to. I do agree though that he will be more contested than before.
Of course, that should be the strategy to keeping the lanes open and Tim in single coverage, but its a toss up if Pop actually pushes that or if he keeps having the ball fed to Bonner.
Like chump stated, let's not draw conclusions from a couple minutes of interview footage about a player's whole practice schedule.
I don't think its idiotic. I've watched Bonner practicing his uncontested 3's in several of these shootaround videos and it's always done in the same disinterested, perfunctory way.
Proof is in the pudding. In the game he's pretty damn good at uncontested 3's. But soon as anyone even so much as flicks a booger next to him and he'll brick the shot.
Which players have you seen at Spurs shootaround with players regularly running at them while they practice threes?
