    dont know yet, im keeping it until the money goes through, then i will keep it as a reciept, or shred it.

    chase mobile app and my android, it was on iphone only until last week, now there is an android app too. Just use your camera and take a pic of the back and front, enter amount, and if the picture is clear enough the chase servers do the same thing the new style atms do, and it reads everything and decodes it.


    protip, make sure you have alot of light when taking the picture

    I don't have a fancy phone, but I've been depositing checks (as infrequent as that is with direct deposit) for years with a scanner. It kind of made me nervous the first time, but it works great. With USAA, the money goes into your account without any delay. I still keep the actual check for a while just in case, but I've never had a problem.
