ok, I've got to admit that I annot STAND to watch the commentators on ESPN .. i miss Sean Elliot dag nab it!!

So the last game I put the tv on mute and turned the radio to WOAI.
Of course the radio was like 3 secounds ahead of the TV and I herd everythign before I saw it happen.. but i dealt with it.

What was great though was that WOAI actually had more game coverage.
I'm 100% sure I'll be doign this for the rest of the games also.

    anyone else???

Yes, ESPN sucks, but I can't stand the time-delay. Sorry.

If only radio could sync up with the TV, but this has been discussed already!

I know it can be done, because I heard Brad Sham and Jerrah Jones talking about it on the Jerrah Jones show. Apparently the Cowboys delay their radio broadcast by a little over a second so it will synch with the TV signal. They indicated it was pretty much standard industry practice.

The 3 second delay is because of the rebroadcast of the signal (Dish, Cable, etc.) if the game is on ABC, there shouldn't be a problem.

Living in Houston sucks for that exact reason. I've watched more than a few games here on mute. The effect is similar to Mystery Science Theater 3000, as I keep my own running commentary and attempt to guess at the stupidity that Walton was saying at the moment.
