I almost forgot how young Derrick Rose really is. I think he's 22. Anyways. Hollinger is right to say he isn't elite yet, because for whatever reason, he still doesn't make his teammates better. Maybe numbers don't backup my argument, but I don't think players like Derrick rose, ala Steve Francis, Stephon Marbury are built to last or are as effective as pointgaurds like Steve Nash or Rondo. You have to have a certain instinct to get your players open shots, and right now Derrick Rose's offensive game is holding back his passing game to the point it might be negatively affecting the team. Hollinger is right that if Derrick Rose can create contact and go to the line more that would definitely help Rose and Bull's chance to be better, but he needs to be spreading the ball around more.
