This may have come up before and if so sorry for the repeat thread. If Spurs face Heat in Finals who would have homecourt advantage?????

    They have identical records.

    They split the season series.

I know that if they were in the same conference that thier records against the that conference would determine who has homecourt, but since they are not in the same one how is it determined???

The Spurs have homecourt over every team from the East. They own the tiebreaker over Miami because the Spurs record vs. the East (23-7) was better than Miami's record vs. the West (19-11, I think).

We're not in the finals yet! How about getting past Phoenix first.

First tiebreaker after head-to-head is record against opposite conference. SA wins that one.

Okay, I thought that might be it but I wasn't sure. Thanks
