Soccer tournament.
Anyone have any special plans for this weekend?
So far I'm having a cook-out with family and friends this Saturday before the Spurs game...

Taking the kids to see "Madagascar" Sunday.
Same old same old.
I'll head out with my father to place flags on all the graves of our veteran family members, and then I'll leave on Sunday to take care of an emergency we're working at on my jobsite in Ingleside (Working Memorial Day is such a joy).

Wish I was joining you. My DH wanted to go to the Valley this weekend to see his Dad but it will have to wait until Father's Day.
We have not been to Matamoros in a long time but our favorite restaurant used to be Los Portales. Ever been there?
I don't go to Matamoros. I did when I was younger. They have alot of night clubs there. As well as more tourists. You can find better deals in Progresso where the locals go to. I go to García's and Ay! Jalisco. Can't beat the food, beer, service, entertainment, and prices in Progresso. It is alot smaller than Matamoros. Just one street to go down on, stick to, and not get into trouble.
Are the Dos XX still .75 I used to go there all the time when I lived with my ex roomate he was from San Juan. Man we used to have fun down there. I went to the screening last week and it was really good...much better than I expected. You'll probably like it more than your kids will. Plenty of adult humor like the Shrek movies.

Going home for the weekend - going to watch the game @ Goomba's tomorrow night and have made contingency plans in case the Spurs have a chance to sweep. My plans involve me saying o to everybody that's going to the SBC on Monday evening as they walk past my camp in front of the ticket window for Finals tickets.

We will go in June.....have to buy a couple of pinatas and drag them back to SA.
Good luck dude, I'll camp out with you if they do sweep, but I'm pretty sure they aren't going to sell the tickets at the SBC Center, which is bull .
A few weeks ago my 3yo was looking pretty dirty after playing outside. She was hot, sweaty and dirty with juice stains on her tshirt. I told her, all you need is a box of Chicles. My 9 and 11yo looked at me like, HUH? Not enough mexican in those girls.
Some of those kids would make great used car salesmen.
