I liked that they used "Let it rock" (by kevin rudolph) last year. As long as they cut it off before lil' wayne ruins it by his presence on the track.
I was sad to hear they weren't using "Let it Rock" anymore
Yeah, the song Let it rock was pretty much built to be an Anthem. Shoot, they could have used clips from the video in their own pre-game video.

I went to about 10 games in late '08 and greatly enjoyed Let it Rock.
I hate that horrible song. Almost makes me not want to go to the game.

why does everybody intro have to be cool except for the Spurs??? We have the gayest intro and music in the whole NBA. They need to fire who ever does there marketing and media.

They could do something similar like the heat(Maimi vice thing going). They could do the Argentinean mobster/ hitman theme, or the conquistadors/Texas rangers cowboys from theme to celebrate the Spanish/Anglo founding culture of San Antonio.
lol what are you gots talking about "let it rock" is a terrible song, exudes the opposite of bad-ass...certainly wouldn't want my team coming out to that song.
BTW, didn't anybody else notice that when the Spurs played that afternoon game in New Orleans a couple weeks back when they showed TD and the rest of the Spurs huddling up right before tip-off you could hear the "Our house" song in the background...New Orleans uses the same exact intro song!

It's a great song, as I said, very anthemic, perfect for a sporting event (once again, until lil wayne comes into and ruins it). Plus the video is great, much of it looks like it could have rivaled "the buggles" for video of the year 1980 (actually it would probably fit a little better with 83-84). LOL
Correct me if I'm wrong (I didn't see that afternoon Hornets game), but don't most teams (including the Spurs) use one song for their intro, and then another right before tip-off? The Imperial March that Cleveland used for us was better than anything the Spurs will ever come up with. I think we should just use it.
