Really? Not Manu? Hm..
Celtics Paul Pierce and San Antonio's Tony Parker will be named East/West players of the week for last week.

Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks
this week:
Manu >>>>>>>> Tony.
Weird. Manu goes into hero mode, single-handedly wins 2 close games, but Tony gets WCPOW?
Tony deserves it putting up that 37 point game against the Grizzlies. Congrats Tony!![]()
Tony's getting it for putting up 37 on the Grizzlies, no doubt. Manu was much in the clutch, but I don't think any of those games he put up big numbers (maybe I'm wrong.) So while he was the most valuable player of the week for us, TP was probably the best.
Cool. That's niceSome recognition. Good job TP
Can't complain, it's a Spur at least.
Even though TP wasnt as clutch as Manu was in back to back games against Milwaukee and Denver, TP was quietly the reason why they were even in the Denver game in the 1st half. If I remember right, he had about 18 points, 7 assists at halftime.
FWIW, Manu Ginobili was among candidates for POW nod Parker just earned. Two game-winners not enough.

timmay had 2 good games...lame
lol Manu is so ing underrated it's not even funny hahahaha
Either guy could have won it and deserved it. I'm just glad TP is settling in and doing what he is capable of doing this year. I very much hope that I can see the gang in person during my Christmas vacation.
Last week :
Ginobili : 19 pts, 47% FG%, 18,7 3P% 5,66 ast, 4 reb, 2,33 TO, 1 stl,
Parker : 25,5 pts, 56% FG%, 50% 3P%, 8,66 ast, 2,33 reb, 2 TO, 1 stl
Ginobili more clutch but Parker better overall this week
It's Some Kind Of Wonderful when two Spurs have a week where both merited WCPOW, and Our Old Guy was right there, too.
Relish in the Moment. These Times Will Pass.
Manu had 3 great clutch plays but was not close to be WCPOW. 19/6/4 on 47% is not that great.
Manu deserved it lot of other weeks though
Parker was so much better than Manu last week, stop kidding yourselves.
