I just have this thought in my mind for a while now. I have been thinking what if the big 3 were playing like their best performances like what they did in the NBA FINALS. Just think of it TD-2003,Manu-2005,TP-2007. Imagine if they played like that this season with our current players. Would this guarantee a 5th ? Just askin.

absolutely not. If with prime Duncan, Pop would make the Spurs play the old defensive way which means no playing time for defensive scrubs such as Bonner, Neal, Blair or even Hill.

the team's scoring would go through Duncan giving a lot less touches to Manu + Parker. and Spurs would score about 80-90 ppg. Our record would be worse due to our offense being stagnant again. So that spurs team would be regular season much worse than this one.

On the other hand, that Spur team would be a true legit contender and not a question mark like this one.

Since we are going on this assumption that our players are playing at the peak, can you imagine if its Celtic. Rondo (present), Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, Garnett, 2 O'Neals all at their prime would be a terrific team although I can't see how they can share one bball.

Well, it sure would make the Spurs a of a lot better force even though they already are right now.

What if I had like a 10-inch with a load velocity like Peter North?

Thats a good point. This team would be going to duncan every play then.

But with the amount of talent and 3 point shooting on this team compared to the 03 team, this team with a prime duncan would be the best in the league. Manu 05, quite honestly, 05 finals was a blur, everybody was playing balls out that series, and all the games went down to the wire. Ginobili would've done his thang. Parker 07, was unstoppable.

Damnit, I give up. Our big 3 playing unstoppable ball? OF COURSE WE WIN THE LE!

You'd be better off going back to kindergarten to learn to count.
And you!! You wouldnt go into the Special Ed. classroom & try to prove to all the little s how much more intelligent you are. Come on bro, you cant mess with the challenged. Definately not cool.

What fun would that be? The great thing about ST is the diversity of high character & us assholes. If it sucks that bad, I hear alcohol is a great for coping.

    I will answer honestly.

I do not think it would guarantee anything, because the league has become more difficult. It would certainly increase our chances.

We already have 2005 Ginobili and 2007 Parker... 2003 TD wouldn't hurt.
