I know they're the CIA Spurs when it comes to injuries, but has anyone heard anything about James Anderson's return? He was supposed to be out six weeks. That would put his return sometime this week.

After 12 weeks he'll say, "Did I say 12? I meant 18."![]()
As long as Udoka takes a huge backseat once he returns
Im curious as to whose minutes he'll take. Obviously (hopefully) Udoka, but thats not many. Maybe rest Manu and/or Jefferson some more.
Gotta give Neal his due though, he's earned the right to keep getting the majority of those minutes he used to split with Anderson, despite the fact that I generally preferred Anderson's size and defensive potential to Neal.
It's only December
I say he comes back in two weeks

Even though San Antonio Spurs rookie James Anderson is still out of the line up nursing an injury, it certainly hasn't stopped him from giving back to the local San Antonio community.
Anderson took time out to help the San Antonio Food Bank sorting out food to make sure there is enough for the holidays:
"It means a lot, you know, just giving back and it's something I look forward to continue to do," said the San Antonio Spurs' rookie guard James Anderson. (source kens5.com)
Sure Spurs fans may be caught up in the team having the best record in the NBA and playing some of their best basketball in recent years, it's nice to see Anderson put things in perspective and see helping others is what truly matters in life.

I think I may be more excited about JA's future with the Spurs than Hill's...but I would love to see them playing together for many years to come in the Silver and Black.
According to reports, he won't be back until mid-January, but knowing how the Spurs handle injuries, you won't see him until after the all-star break.
With the way the team is playing now, there is no reason to bring him back until after the All-Star break...He'll have more than enough time to start getting back in game shape and hopefully return to his normal role...
