they are 25-3, I don't think anyone should be complaining
We've seen this story before and its not been a happy ending.
Spurs are shooting over 40% from beyond the 3-point arc. Fantastic shooting. It's fun to watch.
But it just doesn't win in the playoffs.
Ask the Phoenix Suns the last few years or the Sacramento Kings before that, and especially the 1997-1998 Seattle Supersonics.
All this teams were fantastic from the 3-point arc. Unfortunately all three of these teams suffered in the playoffs.
Good luck
P.S. The Alamo Dome is still empty except for the Alamo Bowl.

agree. Blair + Tiago need to step up and Duncan play at least 65% prime Duncan
Yea but Phoenix and Sacramento couldn't play defense.
Just riding the 3 until Timmy goes 2003 mode in the playoffs tbh.
spurs won games this year win their threes were not going in
you know the spurs aren't going to play this way in the playoffs.
No doubt. Spurs will be making a deep run, but will they be strong enough in the paint to win the le. They have a good chance to be honest. They would be the first of their kind to win a championship.
Stop fooling yourselves Spurs fans!
Spurs have just turned into what the mavs were in past years
That's not true. They tried small ball last year and it was doing ok until they ran into a team who did it better.
Their best lineup usually has Jefferson at the 4 with three guards.
TD is just coasting for the playoffs. Come April, you es will be seeing beast-mode TD.
Good thing Phoenix suck ass this year then.
If 3point shooters are given open shots, they have to take them. They do not live and die by the 3 as much as the old Mavericks teams. They have a gameplan to get wide-open 3's off solid pick&rolls, but ultimately they take what the defense gives them. It's more proper to say, opposing teams live and die by giving the spurs open jump shots.
Does that mean we're going to choke for consecutive years?
this year their shooters are hitting shots. when they got swept, their shooters weren't hitting even if their lives depended on it
That is true. Good point. Its unreal how wide open they get. But they do shoot it at a very high percentage.
Just look at the f*cking 4th quarter defense. Suns' not even capable of half of that effort.
in' genius you are
No way the Spurs shoot this many jumpshots in the playoffs. There's a reason Duncan isn't banging in the post nearly as much as he has in the past.
The Spurs have lived and died by the three since the mid 90s.
