Channel 44 on TWC! I am so excited and am having some friends over for a launch party and while the guys are watching football we girls will be having a great time of our own!! Anyone else as excited as I am?

No watch party but my GF was watching some today. Oprah OWNs TV.

Hopefully it''ll be a better channel than the "man hating" channel Lifetime.
How is Lifetime man hating? I find the movies inspirational. I love how the single mom that gets beat/raped/and/or attacked overcomes adversity and give herself and her kids a better life.
I turned on the channel not knowing what it was and they were showing a Jay Z concert. He happened to be singing HOVA.
I thought, "Oh, this can't be too bad." Then I saw it was Oprah's network. Nevermind.
Wow black woman with her own network? That is just crazy mind boggling success. That is one of the greatest successes I've ever heard maybe even moreso than Barack Obama.

This is bad but you would be surprised about what channels exist these days. There is a channel on Directv that shows previews for Damages 24 hours a day. True story.
