Seriously, the crappy Hornets would be 6th in this silly conference. Every year we hear how the East is getting stronger and yet the opposite happens. This is pathetic and disturbing, especially with many of the large markets in that conference like New York/NJ, Toronto, Philly, etc.

Didn't every playoff team in the west last year have 50+ win seasons, while the east 8th seed barely had a .500 season, if that?
The east has been garbage since the bulls of the 90s.

The East is Top Heavy with Miami, Boston, and Orlando, but there's a big drop off after those 3 teams. Though Chicago has been playing surprisingly well even w/out Noah.

They have it easy cause they only have to play the west teams twice a year.
