PS3 Online Coop games.

What games can you play online and do story mode? Really enjoy playing games with my 2 best friends in SA and would like to see if anyone has any reccomendations on what games would be good to do this with.

Really prefer coop story or campaign modes as opposed to the usual multiplayer offerings.

Resident Evil 5 was badass. I played it for 360 but I'm sure it's the same.

I haven't gotten around to Borderlands but I hear it's excellent.

Army of Two and AoT: 40th Day are decent campaign co-op third-person shooters (kinda like Gears of War).

I know you said you wanted co-op but after really getting into the socom series, everything else is just like playing a wii game. Confrontation is on its last legs but i try buying games every once in a while and i always keep playing that. Everything else is like checkers and socom is like chess. Communication, teamwork, strategy and being unselfish will make you a good player. If you havn't played any of the Socom series for an extended amount of time, you won't stand a chance playing the ranked games and won't find it fun at all. Try SOCOM 4 right away when it comes out so you can learns by killing some newbs. That one has a campaign also i think.

Played some RE5 tonight. Seems ok but controls are ing clunky as , imo. Also played some spec ops on MW2. That was pretty fun.

i remember playing resistance 2 coop. it was well done 8 players. some of those levels were really challenging.

Portal 2 is going to be coop, though i think just 2 player. that will be a lot of fun with a buddy.
