Beso LLC, 32 percent owned by Longoria, listed assets of about $2.5 million in the Chapter 11 filing in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Las Vegas.
The restaurant, which has a nightclub called Eve, projected ongoing losses of $76,000 per month.

The cynic in me can not help but wonder if it is a financial ploy meant to help her claim for spousal support.
If I had millions, the restaurant biz would be the last place I'd want to invest, but I guess folks should follow their passion. However, it does seem like opening a restaurant is default behavior for many a celeb and sports figure.
More fun eating at a fancy restaurant than owning one I would think.
I agree, the res biz is a horrible and highly risky business. I don't get why people insist on opening businesses after businesses if the risk is there.
