He's had a long enough time off.
This sport isn't meaningless when it drives a city, when it puts food on the table, when it makes you a millionaire.
He lost his mother. I feel bad for him. But missing game 3 shouldn't have happened.

And getting game one and two off and then the break between games 2 and 3 is more than enough time to grieve.

As for the people calling him out, how are you gonna say crap like that after the man's mother died, I cant imagine what he is going through!!!! It was his mom for goodness sake!!!
