Would not be a "gift" selecton he is 3rd ranked in all nba centers by Hollinger (who ranks him only as a center)
He is also blocking more shots per game than Chandler by the way.
Tim Duncan himself obviously knows that he is getting older, which means that the best time in his career is gone already, with his 13pts 9rebs indiviual statistics this season, most of the basketball fans in the states or the rest of America would probably vote for guys like Carmelo , Dirk or Kurant etc over Duncan.it seems that Duncan might take a break at home with his beautiful family during the all star break, However, when people think that Duncan stands no chance for joining the ASG this year, The president of NBA league David stem as well as coaches would likely select him for replacing Yao's position as the Center of the western conference thanks to the best record and his brillant reputation although Duncan always clarifies that he is a pure and standard PF from the 1st day arrived in spurs to now.

Hopefully, he won't get selected. Much better to get those days off than have to play in some meaningless game.
he will be selected by the coaches or stern.
and popovich will most likely be the coach of the western conference.
therefor there is no need to worry about too much playing time for duncan. especially because the intensity of the game will be less than a practice game (for the most part)
Stern? Butthurt much?
who else would be a logical replacement for yao as a center? bynum? chandler?
