Thanks mate
Ahh what's outback? Some food joint over there I assume?
i guess your labia piercings and clockwork orange tats seem pretty stupid now, huh?
just saying, i guess you feel kinda silly now worrying about such ridiculous things when a catastrophe like this brings you some kind of perspective. I mean, you're not worrying or asking advice about what color of v-neck to wear out today, are you?
What the ? Maybe that'd be a valid point if I was asking now but I asked in a time where there was no catastrophe. So basically NBA is ridiculous next to this too so now I'm in perspective... ing dumb point...
Actually, when times are tough I happen to reflect on how happy the little things such as pierced labias and my colorful t shirt collection make me.
You've got it backwards.
Go buy a boat or something. Never hurts to be prepared.
Outback Steakhouse. The McDonalds of steakhouses.
ew, vegemite.
don't mind thispedo, he's just sad there's no little boys around to play with.

13 dead and counting.
I'm not sure some peoples at udes in this thread is/are appropriate.
Have some respect.

Agreed![]()
Was n/e AU also suffering from the 10-year drought?
Is that drought over for the rest of the country?
It doesn't seem that long ago that my area which is Brisbane, Queensland was in a very serious drought now we can't get rid of the rain. In the western part of Aus is a drought worse than the one we had. Polar opposites ay
Stay safe. Weird weather happening all over the world.
I have been hearing about it on NPR every morning. This morning they were talking about how Brisbane is supposed to get the worst flooding they have seen in 35 years and that the run on supermarkets has already happend. I hope that everything is ok with you and your family. Please keep posting so we know you are ok.
i ascribe all these natural disasters to humans over exploitation of natural resources tbh. we should stop mining coals & crude oil right now and return to a medieval living style, then God will turn less raged at humans and will probably stop punishing humans that hard.
where can i donate for our aussie friends? links?
Have you stocked up well? Canned foods, batteries, water and all that? Get bleach now as you will need it afterwards. You can place furniture up on blocks in hopes that the water does not get too high in the house. Sandbags are a good investment. Sandbagging the doors by placing plastic down first, stack sand bags to a height that still allows access bringing the end of the plastic up under the top layer of bags making all a bit more water-tight. If you are bailing out of the house empty the refrigerator before leaving and place some sandbags in it to weigh it down. You do not want to clean smelly stuff up later and floating heavy objects can do damage. All I can think of off-hand.
And wishing the best for you.

Top right hand corner I think. Its the Queensland govt. site.
Thanks for your thoughts.
We've got enough food for at least 2 weeks and all doors are plasticed and sandbagged so just gotta hope it holds or we don't need them. We've been flooded twice last year but not as bad as the predictions, we've got electronics up from floor downstairs and whatnot. Batteries is something we could use definitely. We have some not enough
Thanks all for thoughts, will keep posted. Its 7:30am here, worse expected 2:30pm local time
Ahh yes there was a big big flood in 1974 and predictions say it may reach the same. I'm not sure about run on supermarkets but I'm sure its happened. Thanks for thoughts mate
