Suffers do something similar to this in the Houston shipping channel riding the wake of the super tankers passing by. There's a whole do entary about surfing. The name eludes me though.

I think the doc was called Step Into Liquid but I'm not too sure.
Those dudes probably have to wear 1/4" wet suits with gloves and masks in that ice water. Bet they look just like big fat seals to the great whites and killer whales when they eat it...
The first big surf movie was The Endless Summer, guys searching the world for The Perfect Wave.
Right. I thought the perfect wave they found was a relatively small one off Africa that just went on for miles like the one in the OP.
