According to this stat analysis report: the Spurs are less efficient with Tony on the court than off. I've always guessed it's probably because Hill provides more defense than Tony, but even purely based on offensive efficiency the spurs are better with Hill on rather than Tony

gives some basis on why Pop has gone with Hill in crunch over tony for some games. As for Manu as we have always know his effinciency is off the charts (one of the best in the NBA ) . An example of this was the recent Bucks game, he went out with 6 min left, Spurs up by 7, while out the bucks bring lead to 1, then he brings it up again to 7 in 3 min court time.

You have to take into account that Tony faces the starters while Hill normally faces the 2nd unit.

    lol Bonner > Duncan

Another gem in the 2 season adjusted: Udoka > Hill or Parker

How can Ime Udoka have a two-year adjusted +/- listed but under one-year it's "N/A"?

I think it pretty much says our crunch-time lineup should be Manu, Hill and Tony as the smalls with Tim and either Matt or Dice as the bigs. Not surprising.

But when Tony scores over 15, they're almost undefeated. I think they've lost about one game when Tony adds 15 points or more.

Point on. That just proves that we should fire Tony. Danny Green was our MVP, who's the re who let him go ? We should sign him for the max !!!!
