It'd be swell having the Suns drop into that 8th seed. They'd get no Lottery and the Spurs would create an immediate fudge factory in their collective Fruits.
No poll but the chances are high for a team coming out of the gate so fast.
Remember this was the same knock we had on the Heat...can they sustain their play or are they setting themselves up for the big burn-out come play-off time.
Spur fan what happens if this happens? Instead of hurling insults at coasting LA fans you should be thinking about the ramifications of this transpiring. Don't let the regular season fool ya. This would be over-the-top humorously and ironically catastrophic to say the least. While the Lakers are indeed chasing a 3-Peat the Spurs are chasing a 2-Sweep of sorts.
Could lightening actually strike twice in the Spurs case. Everyone knows they're playing well because of the embarrassment of the Skunker. Trying to remove those skid marks from their panties.
Also every so called le contender / play-off team has dealt with some major injury this season except the Spurs...I saw midget talking about basketball gods in another thread but could it be that the gods hit the Spurs with a late season "it's now your turn now type of injury" helping the 2 - Sweep. Now I never ever wish injury ( not my style) I'm just saying the Spurs shouldn't be counting their chickens before the eggs hatch.

By the looks of things at this point (all we have, really), it's much more likely that the Spurs won't be swept a second time than the defending champs winning it all again.
