Maybe Brady isn't so accurate when he hasn't been tipped off to what defense the other team is playing? Ditto Bellicheat, the Pats O, D, and special teams.

The Pats have still done decently in the regular season, obviously. Heck, in 2008 we went 11-5 with our backup QB playing all 16 games.
And our record of 2-3, while not great compared to the SB runs, certainly isn't the worst in football.

Actually Norvron is 3-3 altho the SB appearance bests Norvo by miles.

So just to prove MultiFabbs' point, let's go ahead and list every other NFL dynasty that didn't tail off at some point and just remained dominant and did better than 3 in 4 years. Because being a dynasty for 4 years and following that up with a period where you don't achieve that same level of success is totally foreign.
We know filming some footage of practices didn't help Josh Mcdaniels of the Broncos and I doubt it had anything to do with the run the Pats had but they are always saying in the NFL they are looking for an edge. I honestly don't know if it helped. LOL

Hopefully Leigh Bodden comes back 100% next year. If so, well have a good young CB tandem, some good young lbs (guyton, mayo, es) and a few decent lbs (ninkovich). And while Meriweather and Chung make stupid plays sometimes, they also can hit hard and give their all.
The one area where we are slightly showing our age is Dline. Wilfok is still a beast, and hopefully Warren comes back 100%. But still, need some youth. Cunningham and Deaderick have done decent but not spectacular.
So, for the draft, we really need a pass rusher. The best would be an OLB/DE tweener like McGinest. Heck, we should grab two or three.
Then we should grab a cover corner for use in nickel/dime packages. BB used a ton of that sub package this year.
(the rest of our picks should go to the o line, and then maybe a RB and or WR in the later rounds)
whatever moves are made that ensure Tully Banta Cain never plays another signifcant down in New England ever again should be the top priorities. And tbh I've given up on Meriweather. The guy has so much talent but he's just like Maroney - dumb as . Get someone else to play alongside Chung.
I'm fine with another safety. Like you said, he shows flashes of talent but stupidity too, like that HORRIBLE angle he took in whichever game it was where he collided with McCourty.
If we can get a top flight safety, I'd be fine with Meriweather/McGowan as serviceable nickel/dime DBs.

Dynasty? That was last decade. Its 2011. Pats are still a very good team, but your not a dynasty when your last SB win was 7 years ago.
