Both are very good players, but both have had knee injuries. Who would you rather have as your teams #1 bigman?

Griffin. I haven't been able to see many games with him yet, but he seems to be much better at scoring, and he's more versatile.

From the looks of it, Bynum is slightly better offensively in the post, and a fair bit better defensively overall. However, I think Griffin can grow to be as good a defender.

Young big players that I would take before Bynum:

    Dwight Howard
    Blake Griffin
    Kevin Love
    LaMarcus Aldridge
    Marc Gasol
    Brook Lopez
    Al Horford

Hate to agree with Celtic S .

Blake is also walking highlight reel. He'll fill up the seats, easy. Bynum is more the boring, Duncan type.

Blake is my choice, however Bynum is no slouch.

I would take Blake as well, but his style of play is conducive to injury. Still Blake reminds of of a bigger Shawn Kemp.

Funny thing is, I think that one would be the most believable. Both are young, both are big guys, both have had their injury woes, both have the tools to be better than they currently are in their respective systems...and so on.

Makes a ua lot more sense imo, to compare players around the same age, than players on the opposite end of their perspective careers.
