sorry guys, i just have to bask in the moment.
ouch.
so how do y'all recoup after a 20 point spanking?
thoughts?

Don't you think you should show a little restraint until you play us in College Station?
sorry like i said im enjoying it while it lasts![]()
lol. pretty embarrassing game tbh. Texas dominated from start to finish. A&M was totally taken out of their game by the ticky tack foul calls early since they play a very aggressive type of defense.
The result will be different when the game is in College Station although Texas looked very good tonight, the best I have seen them all season.
ill give mad respect to a&m if they win at home. it's a morale killer though for sure, so we'll see what happens.
Aggies were not ready for the deadly Canadian Connection we have in the lineup. What a bloading.
Hope Tristan's knee is okay. We got bigger fish to fry on Saturday.
it matters little except for one night s and giggles.
both teams will be in the ncaa tourney and neither will go past the elite 8.

This.ill give mad respect to a&m if they win at home.
thoughts? without the ridiculousness, t.u. wins by 10 or so...they were on fire. i remember, sitting at the game 5 min in thinking, i hope A&M gets the same treatment at home. it started off 20-5, and i don't think A&M really ever recovered from the foul fest (10 or 11 team fouls on A&M in the first 7+ min).
A&M wins at home by 10 or so and its like this game never happened. though, admittedly i was excited to attend and hopeful.
Embarrassing.. but damn.. yall couldn't miss a shot.
I knew we'd go on a run, and we did, but right after that it was right back to the sips making every shot they took.
Well I called it. Texas got the calls at home but still. It sure beats SEC officiating.
you aint kidding. winning on the road is brutal, but it shouldn't be that hard, .
Does anyone think those weren't fouls? Texas was too quick in the frontcourt for aggie, most of those fouls were a result of Aggie holding to not lose position or get beat.
Of course ag will bring a better effort at home and it will be a tough place for Texas to win, but if they don't find a way to neutralize TT at least a little they're getting beat again. They have absolutely no one on the frontcourt that can keep him from doing what he wants so the team defense has to be better. They have to hope Hamilton and J'Covan aren't playing lights out like tonight and also hope guys like Wangmene don't have games like this either.
i don't think half of them were fouls, though i already admitted t.u. was winning this game, regardless. i don't know, #3 & #1 couldn't miss. 3 t.u. players went off...
hmm...just looked at the box score. yup, those guys shot great. also, t.u. shot 58% and outrebounded A&M by 8! The Ags are #2 in the nation in rebounding differential. This won't happen in college station.
Meh. Had this game chalked up as an L a long time ago. Let's see what happens in College Station.
horns shot lights out and won at home as expected. if they do the same in college station then color me impressed.

Texas bought the refs with their ESPN money.
Pat Knight, is that you?
nope.
Pat Knight isn't doing much talking these days.
Whats up with Tech? Is Knight on his way out?
They're not going to have to anymore. ESPN is going to slobbin all over Texas any chance they get now, not like they didn't before but it's going to be a lotttt worse now.

Take it as you want.. I'll be expecting a CS victory and most Texas' fans should also.
Meh, most of the Ags I talked to had this one as an L a long time ago (like DesignatedT said--how many times have we split this series over the last few years? It's practically expected at this point, tbh). Didn't think it'd be the first L in conference play, so that's good (didn't expect the beatdown, though, so that's a downer). Still, it's one game, and this team was due for a rude awakening.
Hopefully we can return the favor back in College Station. For now, great win, sips--respect must be given where it's due!
