East vs. West: The West is 148-107 (.580) against the East in inter-conference games this season, and was 17-10 last week.

Please for any Eastern Conf fans stop the total BS about the lessening difference between the Conf. If any of the top 4-5 teams in the East played in the West they would all have at least a couple of more losses as even the 5th-10th or so teams in the West bring it night in and night out.

Also, it is interesting that both NBA.com and ESPN did not go crazy and drop the Spurs from their deserved top spot. All teams lose games and have bad nights, especially even a superior team like the Spurs will benefit somewhat from only having 18 BBs this year. Note but that is still three More than that LAL - no surprise there as the league seems to sucks up every year it seems - to try to find a way to soften the LAL's schedule they really outdid themselves this year! The NBA schedule makers outdid themselves this year to favor the Purple and Gold!

First they stacked the front end with a soft schedule while Bynum was out and then even more importantly reduced wear on a team with an average age 2 years more than the Spurs. http://www.rpiratings.com/NBA.html

Lowest number of BBs in the league who else but the LALs!

IMO, the East and West are even now as far as upper tier teams, which use to not be the case.

West is STILL better ...but Miami, chicago Boston and Orlando would be top teams in any conference ...

The worst teams: Wash, CLE, Philly and NJ reside in the East. I would take Sacto, Clips, Gstate and Twolves over that crew. Look at the stars!

Love, Evans, Ellis, curry, Blake and Gordon vs. Iggy, Lopez, Hickson, Wall, holiday and Blatche

Agree but I maintain Boston would probably have min 12 losses and Miami, Chicago and Orlando at least 15-17 East. It is such a benefit to play 1-2 more games a year vs all those weak ass teams from 6 down in the East.

The winning % by West > East says it all and as East teams head out West for longer road trips expect the gap to grow even more.

Spurs should have HCA locked up regardless ... I cant see them losing the 4 or 5 game lead they have over Boston unless Pop shuts you guys down super early or major injury strikes. If the injury is minor: Hill, blair, RJ or even Parker (no offense) they have suitable replacements. If Manu or Duncan get hurt you guys lose HCA and a le shot is in jeopardy ...

Parity does not exist in the NBA. If you are a fan of the Bulls, Spurs, Magic, Celtics, Heat, or Lakers, then be happy because one of your teams will be winning the championship this year. Parity will not exist in the NBA until there is a new person running the NBA.
