Is there a MavFan who is not re ed/Mul roll?
Seems like every time Ian gets anything above miniscule minutes, like even 10 min a game he does well or at the very least he plays decently. The few times he's been given 20+ in his career he's done very well. 2Xs this year for the Mavs:
21 min vs Golden State 12/10 with a block and 2 steals.
21 min vs Memphis on 6/6 shooting and 5/6 FTs for 17 points in a game the Mavs team only scored 70 points! 6 rebounds to boot.
We know why Gregor Popped didn't play Ian, that being Pops man affairs with Michael Finley and Matty Bonbon.
Is Coach Jim Carrey of the Mavs holding some similar sordid reason for keeping Ian down and out?
Even during the recent 2-9 skid it was not until the last two games of the stretch that Ian got in -and delivered.

^^^ ah Mul roll my stalker. Took you all of 60 seconds to respond.
Mahinmi gets no burn in big D for the same reasons the Spurs didn't play him.
im glad you remembered to post this under fabbs

There there Ralphie. Maybe you can have an original one and an accurate one.
At the same time!
Never thought I would have to ad block a photo from the simpsons
So pretty much the same reason San Antonio didn't play him.
Fabbs just can't stand Pop leading the Spurs to the best record in the league, and Bonner shooting lights out.

Pretty sure Mav fan will agree. If you can't get minutes over this years Haywood and last years Bonner then you have to suck.
and these two's coachs playoff record since Ian entered the NBA on the Spurs against all opponents except each other is:
2-8 for Carlisle.
9-12 for 'Popped
(vs each other Carisle leads 6-5 and the series is tied 1-1.)
They sure knew and know what they are doing benching Ian in favor of Michael Finley, Findawg and MavBig.![]()
Depends on the situation really, he gets into foul trouble rather easily.
Haywood and Ian will more than likely split as back up, whoever is playing better at the time.
That's the only reason to keep him chained to the bench?
Flaws in Haywood and Chandlers game also.
Does he make a lot of dumb fouls or do the refs overly ring him up?
It could be because our coach just hates the French, I don't know. Mahinmi has a chance to become a pretty good center, rich mans Haywood IMO.... good size, length, bulk... but with better athleticism and a nice offensive touch. He's really starting to develop and has eaten into Haywood's minutes (significantly), but it's hard to bench an established $7 million center.

It's alot of dumb fouls that Haywood wouldn't even make.
Once he gets consisitent burn he'll improve and will become a factor. Has the skills
