Spurs Past/Present Making a Community Event Apearance

Does anyone know how to ask the Spurs to make an appearance at a Community Event? (it would be in late June)

It doesn't have to be a current player, but maybe Robinson/Rose/Elliott or even just the Coyote... I know these folks are busy, but It would mean so much to the Kids in our community (it's definately in a poorer part of town).

It is a "back-to-school" event where we give out gift cards to help parents with school supplies and clothes, and we also have a kind of carnival thing going on.

Appearance Requests

Spurs Sports & Entertainment (San Antonio Spurs, San Antonio Silver Stars, San Antonio Rampage, Silver & Black Give Back - formerly the Spurs Foundation, and the AT&T Center) is asked to support thousands of worthwhile charitable causes and events each year. We make every effort to accommodate as many requests as possible. However, due to the number of requests we receive, we are simply unable to accommodate all requests. In order for your organization to be considered for an appearance you must comply with the following guidelines:

* Requests may only be submitted online via our online Appearance Request Forms
* Request applications that are incomplete, not submitted online or do not meet all guidelines, will not be considered
* We must receive the request 30 days prior to the event
* Appearances are available within a 75 mile radius of San Antonio
* Please visit the Dancer, Mascot, and Player Appearance Request Forms for more specific guidelines for scheduling appearances

Due to the large volume of requests received, there are no exceptions to the above guidelines. Please keep in mind that submitting an online request does not guarantee your organization will secure an appearance.
