Rondo's a top 5 PG. He's not Chris Paul/Deron Williams though.
Put CP3, DWill, or Rose on a scrub team, and they will probably add about 10-12 wins for that team.
Put Rondo on a scrub team, and how many wins do you honestly think he adds? I say mabye 2.

Parker would probably average just as much or even more assists on the Celts. The Celts are staaaaaaaaacked with offensive weapons.

Rondo is the best PG, and has been for a number of years.
Because there are 2 PGs in the league that are superior. He is not humble, he is another y got Boston Celtic.

I CANNOT WAIT UNTIL PP, KG, SHAQ, AND RAYRAY ALLEN RETIRE.@ pest PG in league when cannot shoot for and has all of these players to assist. Essentially, Rondo's numbers tell me he's just a product of the system, of his team. He's definitely a great player, but the guy never shoots and literally passes all game long...to that Celtics team...with a pretty damn strong bench as well. Seriously, in a couple of years, what's he gonna claim himself to be when he's averaging 5-7 assists per game and still bricking jumper after jumper?

Claiming yourself to be the best PG in the world, when there are obviously better PGs out there, is pretty ing ridiculous.
On a given night he can be the best PG out there. So I think ppl here are making too much ado about nothing.
But, his point is legitimately arguable, Al. Is it laid to rest? No. But, he, or, anybody that makes the argument for him is well within the margin of error.
