    I'd stop short of making that claim too, but I get the point.

    What a great freaking win this was!

    I would say this makes up for that dreadful loss in Portland.

    That's the real key. Most everyone had us losing in LA. I you had to pick one to win (Port/LA), definitely go with LA.

    Yeah, the Portland loss was a blip on the radar. Just one of those games, tip your hat and move forward.

    To beat the Lakers in a playoff-style atmosphere in a playoff-style game, that's big time. There have been some doubts about how this edition of the Spurs would fare in a game this style, so far so good, even if that tip didn't happen.
