As a long time Spurs fan I have to say any victory over the Lakers is very satisfying, regardless of when in the season it happens. Great game by Dice, the Big Three and Neal but I just want to make sure RJ gets some credit here. The guy played great throughout the game and I think if he stays healthy he is going to just get better the rest of the season. He has talent and plenty of smarts. Well done RJ.
PS All this stuff with Pop calling the Lakers the "best in the west"; this is pure Pop psy ops. Its his way of not letting his guys relax with the great start to the year and it also might just affect the Lakers a bit too, ie the opposition keeps calling you "the best" then routinely whips your ass. Pop is a sharp cookie.
