Good to see Splitter out there out there early. Hes looking good on defense.
Dominating the same fromt line that abused the Lakers on the road - dear haters just realize the more these two play the better Spurs will be!

Amen Brother........
Let's wait until we see it against a decent team, but it is refreshing to see Splitter play well.
I don't believe Splitter dominated anyone. Good call with blair.
He got under Cousins' skin almost instantly.
Really like what I am seeing out of Tiago!
The two of them combined for 26 points and 21 rebounds.
Amen, they played well together, blair showing some great interior passing.
Puss just be happy he had a really good game.
Splitter helps subdue Kings earlyForty-eight seconds remained in the first half of the Spurs’ 113-100 victory over the Kings when Tiago Splitter slipped a screen he feigned setting for Manu Ginobili, then took a slick pass from the All-Star guard and laid in his fourth basket of the half.
As the scoreboard clicked over the Spurs’ 60th and 61st points of the half, a young Kings fan in ARCO Arena’s expensive seats stood and demanded an answer.
“Who is that?” he bellowed, and who could blame him?
Mike Monroe

Splitter puts up pretty good numbers when he gets playing time. Unfortunately missed another game from him when he does get playing time.
i didn't even realize we had a b2b tonight... damnit!
just checked the box score and holy !!!! splitter got damn near 30 mins of court time and 7-8 from the field with 16 pts. damn!
Was I the only one scared when Splitter hit that dunk and swung on the rim?
Damn I forgot about Bonner
I'm so glad we don't play until Tuesday. The Splitter gurglers can talk about his performance for 4 days and I don't have to read any of it.
http://blog.mysanantonio.com/spursna...e-kings-early/...“I think this is one of the things I do best, pick and roll,” Splitter said. “I did a lot of it overseas, and Manu is a great pick-and-roll player, so we try to do it a lot.”
...“He’s used to playing with great pick-and-roll players and rolling and finding a spot to finish,” Ginobili said. “Here, it’s a little bit different because of the athleticism of the opponents. He’s got to learn the players and find his way. But he’s a great pick setter and you know he’s always going to roll.
“It’s a matter of getting used to him. We haven’t played together that much. But I know he’s a great player and has a great basketball IQ. He’s going to be good.”
LOL your Gasol sig. Lefty.![]()
hehehe
Amen.
Nice to see Splitter do something with his court time. He put up some nice numbers tonite. He's opened my eyes a bit... Of course it doesn't erase all the lousy play he's been showing us in the past, BUT MAYBE HE CAN still be useful this season. Way to go Tiago, congrats on a nice showing!
I'm obviously not sold yet, but I gotta give my props when they are due....
guys,
today we all saw that splitter can play.....!!!
i hope the splitter-critics now understand that tiago is in fact, a very good basketball player....
he just needs time to adjust to the system
As far as silencing the critics, one game doesn't do it.... although it does show us something positive to be hopeful about...
Did he hit any perimeter shots? What did he do that was so impressive? I did not see the game.
