What this also shows that even if the Spurs had lost say three of those they would still have the best record in all of basketball - pretty friggin sick is their record all things considered.

And it should've been 10-0 if they would've beat Celtics.

35-1 when leading after the third too.

I believe they mentioned 33-1 at the end of the 3rd quarter vs LA, so add two more these past two games. This team knows how to close out games

that Denver game and this past Lakers game were the craziest. Both road games, so close to getting that Celtics game too (Dice was alone going to the bucket).

I personally like the 42-8. Especially when compared to everyone else.

While it doesn't mean a whole lot at the end of the day, it's nice to be there. It doesn't happen too often for us.

    All those stats include losses.

    Here's one that doesn't:

When leading in FG%, the Spurs are 34-0.

You have to be careful with these stats, however. Remember the Mavs super record a few years back. They had a statistic that showed they were a statistical anomaly when it came down to winning games in crunch time.

They had a lot of lucky bounces and things go their way, much like the Spurs this year in those moments. History has proven, even championship teams, all stay pretty close to the mean with regards to games decided by 2-4 points, even if they are clutch. The fact the Mavs were way out there, combined with their record led to an over inflation of their record and they were bounced in the first round.

Be careful when doing this because it could just as easy be 8-2 if Dyess doesn't get the tip, or 7-3 if that and Ginobili isn't awarded the charge on Melo (which was the correct call), or 6-4 if those scenarios played out and the refs call traveling (not that I think it was) on Manu in Milwaukee.

Do you see where this can lead to? I say, be ecstatic with 9-1 and hope the trend continues.

Well, the warriors were a bad matchup for them...They got swept in their season series iirc. But still inexcusable, right? Well, who is the worst matchup for us in the first round?
