Books give no respect to the nets. Lakers are -5 tonight, in NO, where the nets haven't lost since Jan 5 and have beat OKC, SAS, DEN, and ORL. They also only lost by 4 in Staples. I know where my bet is placed tonight.
No way nets have even a chance tonight. No Okafor, no Ariza. Even if they were healthy, Lakers would be clear favorites. Lakers will win for sure and CP3 will call his agent asking how he can be traded to a contender like the Knicks.
Jason Smith is also out with an illness. Mbenga time!
I'm at the pregame festivities in front of the arena drinking the $1 beer trying to stay warm. The new orleans laker fans are out in full force.
Didn't see that anywhere. Maybe addition by subtraction. Nice jumpshooter for a 7'fter, but a terrible rebounder.
Hornets coach Monty Williams just revealed that N.O. is even more beat up than expected, as backup C Jason Smith is out w/sickness.

come on now this are the Lakers that we are talking about here
Ariza would jack up 20 shots against his old team and brick 15 of them
