That fight pissed me off.. I wanted a stand up war and Forrest took the easy way out by using his weight advantage..

Where were the boos during that fight you ing crowd full of tools? They boo the 2 fights before the Jones fight even though they were staying fairly active, but not thas ?
i didnt see the fight, but yeah heard it was a snoozer. i wouldnt have expected that from those 2. like yall are saying, it should have been a war
The fight was fine. Forrest had a good strategy and both men fought well. Let's not devolve into the kinds of "fans" that require constant wild swinging to hold attention.

Every time i see Forrest fight i wonder "How the can someone so huge not hit that hard"?
This guy is 6'3 and cuts down from like 240 to fight at 205. Rich was tiny in there last night by comparison. But when Forrest connects clean even with punches he is sitting down on he never rocks anybody. It's amazing..
Except I don't ever rip on his style -- I rip on him because he's with AKA, and they're all butt s. I love GSP, but even so, his style is often not the most fun to watch; Fitch is no different. I love ground/technical fighting, but sometimes lay-and-pray gets old. While I'm at it, Randy's 'push them against the cage and wear them out' is terrible too.
