Since I don't see a GT, I will pose this question in here: can someone tell me what the Rockets mascot is doing at a Mavs-Kings game in Sacramento? And I swear I think I saw the Spurs mascot there too for a split second. Someone else would need to confirm.

Not 100% sure, but some mascots have "birthdays" or "anniversaries", and they invite mascots from other teams as their "friends", very corny..
As for Walton, he's still entertaining as , as usual..however, he said the Mavs don't have a star player on the level of a Lebron/Kobe/KG/Manu, so ya. he must be on some
I guess that could make sense. I mean, why not invite the mascots of the two other Texas teams when your own team is playing the Mavs?

Like many teams, the Sacramento Kings run a promotion where a fan gets a chance at a half-court shot to win a bunch of money (or a trip or whatever). Wednesday night a Kings’ fan nailed it.
Why? Because Bill Walton was courtside and summoned the spirit of Jerry Garcia on Grateful Dead night at the Kings game. Well, that’s what it sounds like if you listen to the announcers (including Walton himself).
Personally, not a Jerry Garcia fan. Cherry Garcia? That works.
